Measuring Yourself for a Belt
Here is how to properly measure yourself for a belt.
To properly measure your waist size for a custom made belt, you will need a pair of trousers, a tape measure, and an old belt.
With the trousers on, use the tape measure to wrap around your waist on the outside of the belt loops of the trousers. Do Not Pull the Tape tight. Take the measurement of your waist where the end of the tape measure meets the other side.
Another way to measure your waist size or confirm your waist measurement is to utilize an old belt. Take a well-worn belt, lay it flat, and use the tape measure to measure from one end of the belt buckle tongue, which is the point where the metal pin touches the round surface of the belt buckle, and measure from this point to the other end of the belt to the most worn or used belt hole.
